Suzanne Pleshette
Suzanne Pleshette, born January 31, 1937, died on January 19, 2008. She was an American actress, voiceactress, TV, and film director. Pleshette began her career in theatre, and appeared in films during the latter half of the 1950s. She was later featured in a number of notable films, including Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds (1963), or Spirited Away (192001). In the following years, she was a part of numerous television shows and was often in the role of a guest. She played Emily Hartley from 1972 to 1978 on the Bob Newhart show, on which she received several Emmy Award nominations.
